The Wright Bros: Carter, Marlow & mum Maddi (Australia)
Carter (10) and Marlow (9) Wright are brothers from Far North Queensland and the energetic duo behind The Wright Bros. Comics. Their natural humour, big imaginations and unstoppable kid-energy have made them two of Australia’s most exciting young storytellers, engaging thousands of young readers, including many who usually find reading challenging.
In early 2024, they were prompted to start writing their own book after being inspired by graphic novels that they borrowed from their local school library. The boys’ mum, Maddi, helped them connect with Stu, an award-winning cartoonist from The 4th Monkey, to help bring the boys’ vision to life. Poo Heads: Electric Cactus Eggs and its sequel Number Twos: The Tale of the Stink-Eyed Butt Dragon will be published in April 2026 by Wilkinson Publishing.
