Suzy Zail (Australia)
Suzy Zail is an award-winning Australian YA author. Her historical novel, Inkflower (2023) won the CBCA Shadow Judging Book of the Year, Older Readers and was shortlisted for the CBCA Book of the Year, the YABBAS, the Booklinks Award for Historical Fiction and the DANZ Book Award. Her best-selling novel The Wrong Boy (2012) was shortlisted for the CBCA Book of the Year, the YABBAS, the WAYBRA, and the U.K. Coventry Inspiration Book Awards. Suzy is also the author of Alexander Altmann A10567 (2014), I Am Change(2019), The Tattooed Flower (2006) and picture book, Arabella’s Alphabet Adventure (2022). Suzy’s novels are studied in secondary schools, are available in ten countries and have been included in USSBY’s Outstanding International Books List.
