Gabriela Larios (El Salvador | UK)

Gabriela Larios is a Salvadorian artist living in London. As an illustrator and textile designer, her creative world derives from her interest in the natural world. Her work has been exhibited in London, New York, and Europe and has appeared in international books and magazines worldwide. Gabriella illustrated Our Nipa Hut (Barefoot Books, 2024) and Popol Vuh (Restless Books, 2020), a modern retelling of the Latin American Mayan creation myth. Her pattern work was featured in Laurence King’s book Print & Pattern Nature Book (2016) and in jigsaw puzzles, greeting cards, mobile phone cases, and many textiles (wallpaper, cushions, fabrics, clothing).

Recent accolades include: 2026 Shortlist, Thames & Hudson Illustration Award-Paper Bird Exhibition; 2025 Finalist, Bologna Exhibition; 2025 Original Art exhibition, Society of Illustrators Museum, New York; Finalist, VIA Art Prize London; Honorable Mention, 3x3 International Illustration Awards.
