Thanks for approaching Zeitgeist.

Zeitgeist is currently taking a little break from submissions. We will be open again soon. Please have a look at our agents and what they are looking for so you can nominate an agent in your submission.

If you would like to reach out more urgently regarding your need for an agent, please send an email to us with the details attached (please note: this is not for general submissions).

For reference we are most excited by literary fiction, commercial fiction, crime, historical fiction, rom-com, memoir, and narrative non-fiction.

We read every submission, so please only submit once. If you don’t hear from us within two weeks - we are not able to take you on as a client.  

Due to the immense number of submissions, we can’t give feedback or a response unless we are keen to Agent your work.

We are NOT looking to represent Fantasy, Science Fiction or Poetry for the moment.

During times when we are open, the Submission Form which will appear on this page at 5pm Fridays (AEDT) and will ask for:

• Title, genre of work, and current word count of manuscript

• Elevator pitch (30 words)

• Bio (100 words)

• Synopsis (200 words)

• Comparison titles (books or screen)

• Anything else you’d like to tell us (100 words) 

• First 1000 words of manuscript
