Thanks for approaching Zeitgeist.

Zeitgeist opens submissions every weekend. Samuel Bernard is currently the only Agent open to Query.

The submission portal will open each Friday at 5pm (AEDT) and close each Sunday at 5pm (AEDT).

For reference we are most excited by literary fiction, commercial fiction, crime, historical fiction, rom-com, memoir, and narrative non-fiction.

We read every submission, so please only submit once. If you don’t hear from us within two weeks - we are not able to take you on as a client.  

Due to the immense number of submissions, we can’t give feedback or a response unless we are keen to Agent your work.

We are not looking to represent Fantasy, Science Fiction or Picture Books for the moment.

 The Submission Form which will appear on this page at 5pm Fridays (AEDT) will ask for:

• Title, genre of work, and current word count 

• Elevator Pitch (30 words)

• Bio (100 words)

• Synopsis (200 words)

• Comparison titles 

• Anything else you’d like to tell us. (100 words) 

• First 500 Words of Manuscript
